Job Summary

Lead and manage multiple commercial concrete construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, collaborating with field operations and clients to ensure successful execution. Oversee project costs, budgets, and schedules while monitoring quality, safety, and financial performance. Partner with the preconstruction and estimating departments to secure future work and manage project turnover. Coach and mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to foster team development. Serve as the primary liaison for complex project issues and build long-term client relationships. Based in Dallas, TX, with onsite travel to active projects in the DFW Metroplex.

  • Experience providing leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
  • Experience leading, managing, and coordinating multiple commercial concrete construction projects
  • Experience collaborating with operations leadership, field teams, and clients
  • Experience ensuring successful project execution
  • Experience ensuring company protocols are followed
  • Experience ensuring quality, safety, scheduling, and customer expectations are achieved
  • Experience completing monthly pay requests and schedules of values accurately
  • Experience managing project cost tracking including sequential costing, budget monitoring, and cost code accuracy
  • Experience performing job cost analysis and monitoring overall financial performance
  • Experience communicating with executive leadership to develop strategic programs and project goals
  • Experience creating and managing project budgets and expenses
  • Experience monitoring project performance including schedule, quality, safety, labor costs, budget, customer satisfaction, and overall project outcomes
  • Experience partnering with the Preconstruction Department to help secure future projects
  • Experience overseeing project turnover from the Estimating Department to the Project Management team during the preconstruction phase
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
  • Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
  • Experience serving as the primary liaison between Martin Concrete Construction and the client for complex project issues
  • Experience reviewing project contracts and ensuring compliance throughout project execution
  • Experience with schedule management
  • Experience with budget management
  • Experience with cost control
  • Experience with risk management
  • Experience with safety performance
  • Experience with quality of work
  • Experience with employee engagement and team development
  • Onsite availability at active construction projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area
