Job Summary
Senior Project Manager for non-IT government/commercial construction projects leading multi-disciplinary teams; responsible for project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies, coordinating with COR and government program managers, overseeing subcontractor performance, and maintaining client relationships. The role entails leading complex, multi-million-dollar projects across the nation, developing plans and risk strategies, managing scope/schedule/budget/quality, and driving proposals, capability presentations, and strategic planning. Requires 12 years of combined engineering and project management experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a PE license, PMP certification, and specialized experience with federal/national-security projects, naval/maritime infrastructure, and large-scale infrastructure delivery. Also involves mentorship of junior staff, resource planning, and embedding lessons learned post-project completion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Marine, Mechanical, Architecture, or related field)
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required
- 10+ years combined military and civilian experience managing construction projects
- 10 years minimum federal/ government project experience
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Experience with maritime infrastructure projects
- Experience managing non-IT projects exceeding $5M in value
- Knowledge of federal acquisition processes and government contracting
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheets)
- Track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Experience with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies
