Job Summary
Senior Project Manager leading multi-project construction initiatives in San Francisco, overseeing stakeholders (architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers), ensuring milestones and governance are followed, providing executive-level updates, and guiding design teams to meet commission criteria. Responsibilities include coordinating reporting and performance reviews, forecasting milestones, supporting cost control and value engineering, reviewing submittals and cost data, maintaining client relationships, contributing to proposals, sharing lessons learned, and identifying improvements to internal systems and processes. Requires a Bachelors degree in a related field and 7+ years in construction project management; PMP or equivalent certification preferred; must be able to work on-site in San Francisco and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
- Seven or more years of experience in construction project management
- Experience leading multiple concurrent tenant improvement and development projects (commercial real estate)
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage demanding stakeholders
- Advanced certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent are preferred
- Ability and willingness to work in the San Francisco office and travel to project sites as required
- Experience with construction project management platforms such as Procore
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for senior stakeholders
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable
