Senior Project Manager - Concrete Self-Perform Services

Job Summary
Lead all phases of concrete self-perform operations from preconstruction through final closeout, overseeing structural foundations, flatwork, formwork, rebar coordination, and concrete placement. Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Direct field supervision to ensure safe, efficient execution and monitor labor productivity, equipment utilization, and material costs. Champion a safety-first culture, ensure OSHA compliance, and lead project meetings and client reviews. Mentor project managers and engineers, handle contract administration and change orders, and deliver projects ranging from $30 million to $500 million. Frequent travel between sites and extended hours may be required during critical milestones.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience managing self-perform concrete or foundation work on industrial, manufacturing, data center, energy, heavy commercial, or large-scale construction projects
- Strong knowledge of: Concrete construction methods
- Strong knowledge of: Formwork systems
- Strong knowledge of: Rebar detailing
- Strong knowledge of: Concrete placement and finishing
- Strong knowledge of: Project scheduling
- Strong knowledge of: Cost management
- Strong knowledge of: Estimating and forecasting
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Sage 300, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Tekla
- Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment substance abuse screening
- Must be able to travel between project locations as needed
- Must be available for extended hours during critical project milestones
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Experience delivering projects through Design-Build, General Contracting, or Construction Management methods preferred
