Job Summary
Lead projects and client relationships for utility, energy, and renewables programs while shaping business development efforts including proposals and client pursuits. Manage multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants from planning through construction, overseeing budgets, invoicing, and financial performance. Provide technical leadership by conducting engineering/design quality reviews and mentor developing professionals. Collaborate with teams across Dewberry offices, with travel to other offices, client locations, agencies, and project sites required. Requires 10+ years of experience managing commercial utility, energy, or renewables projects and professional licensure in NY or NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related field
- 10+ years of experience managing commercial utility, energy, or renewables projects
- Professional licensure in NY or NJ (or ability to obtain within 18 months)
- Experience with planning, design, permitting, and construction administration
- Familiarity working with state and local agencies on approvals and permits
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A clean driving record
