Job Summary
Communicate project status, schedules, and updates with clients, field staff, and trade partners while maintaining project schedules and coordinating tasks for efficient workflow. Monitor budgets and assist in cost tracking to ensure project scopes align with financial targets, collaborating with estimators to validate estimates and review scopes of work. Assist in preparing change orders, securing necessary permits, and scheduling inspections. Lead and coordinate job supervisors and field staff to achieve project objectives, applying practical construction knowledge to solve site issues and keep projects moving forward. Participate in project meetings and support collections of receivables when needed. This role leads commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout for a Top 200 Minnesota workplace.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- Solid understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and cost management
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience with project management software (Procore, Sage) and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license with a clean record and ability to pass an MVR screening
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one if required
