Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of the implementation of a Delivery Project or portion of an IS Delivery Project, managing financials, subcontractors, and client relationships to deliver safe, quality outcomes. Maintain a secure work environment through site planning, safety reviews, toolbox talks, and site walks with the Lead Construction Manager. Manage the Project Budget under Guaranteed Maximum Price, Lump Sum, or Concession Agreement structures while negotiating vendor purchase orders and subcontracts. Lead the hand-off from Development to establish project goals and oversee the Project Team in creating site utilization and baseline schedules focused on energy savings. Ensure accurate monthly reporting, implement quality assurance plans, and manage change control processes from issuance to resolution. Communicate risk mitigations and maintain strong customer relations with subcontractors, vendors, and the Client.
Required Qualifications
- 4 Year Degree in Construction Management, applicable Engineering OR applicable field experience
- 8+ years of experience
- Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates leadership skills and has the willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships
- Influences outcomes by being resourceful and maintaining focus on safety, financial performance and client expectations
- Ability to multitask and willing to perform additional duties as necessary
- 40-60% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location
- Climbing stairs
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds
