Job Summary
Manage all phases of mechanical, piping, and plumbing projects from planning through completion, developing specifications and bid proposals while exercising independent judgment. Facilitate kick-off meetings, coordinate shop drawings, and transition projects from estimating into management using value engineering to ensure cost-effectiveness. Monitor project costs, purchase materials, and oversee subcontractors while approving invoices and ensuring warranty compliance. Direct fabrication shipments, develop operating manuals, and generate status reports to deliver projects within predetermined budget, time, and quality parameters. Maintain equipment lists, manage project schedules, and coordinate engineering submissions in alignment with EAS Safety Program and OSHA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- Significant experience in HVAC, Piping and or Plumbing
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Computer proficiency in Word perfect, Excel, Scheduling & project Management software
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Knowledge of OSHA and other construction related rules and regulations
- Must have OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Must be able to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
