Job Summary

Senior Project Manager responsible for directing major initiatives within the Enterprise Transformation Office, including facilitating scope development, aligning with project plans, building business cases, managing budgets and risks, chairing governance committees, coordinating with senior stakeholders, and driving delivery of program benefits. Requires strategic leadership, strong stakeholder management, agile/hybrid experience, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of successful project and program execution in the insurance/financial services sector; involves hybrid work (2 days in office) and a COMPETITIVE compensation package in Canada.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum seven years of experience in Senior Project Management (multi-million dollar projects with multiple workstreams) or Program Management using agile and hybrid methodologies
  • At least 2-3 years of experience within the insurance and financial services preferred
  • Post-secondary degree in Technology/Business or a related discipline
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Prosci Change Management, or Change Management Institute (SMI) certification(s) is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships
  • Ability to collaborate and extract unstated needs and requirements
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to foster an inclusive, productive team environment with several disparate teams being involved
  • Knowledge of, and practical experience in, change management
  • Ability to switch between initiatives and understand impacts
