Job Summary
Facilitate project kickoffs after purchase order receipt, aligning technical, commercial, scope, timing, and risk handoffs across key stakeholders. Develop, maintain, and communicate schedules covering design, manufacturing, build, debug, buyoff, shipment, installation, commissioning, and final acceptance. Lead customer and internal reviews to resolve issues, manage open items, clarify scope, track deliverables, mitigate risks, and escalate cost, quality, or delivery constraints. Track and report project performance, including budgets, milestones, ECRs, customer POs, contract deviations, and recovery actions. Monitor each project phase, including dimensional checks, weld/process validation, design reviews, runoff, buyoff, installation, commissioning, and final acceptance. Drive projects to completion within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer requirements while identifying risks, commercial impacts, and resource constraints. Required Qualifications
- Mechanical, Controls, or Weld Engineering degree/diploma, or equivalent technical trade experience in automated manufacturing, metal joining, or custom capital equipment
- Minimum 10 years' progressive project management experience in custom-engineered equipment, preferably welding, robotic automation, tooling, or body-in-white assembly
- Willing and able to travel to customer, supplier, installation, and commissioning sites as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of fixture design, customer specifications, GD&T, process requirements, controls integration, and manufacturing execution
