Job Summary
Manage all aspects of designing and executing assigned capital projects, including refining scope, setting boundaries, and finalizing process designs. Collaborate with stakeholders to map timelines, align resources, and coordinate activities while developing budgets for every stage to ensure financial tracking aligns with ROI targets. Investigate alternatives to determine feasibility, maximize value, and provide justification for investment. Lead project implementation, address challenges, and document progress to achieve seamless closure while ensuring safety protocols and environmental regulations are strictly followed during planning and execution. Requires 50% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical or chemical engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing projects, managing design and construction activities
- Chemical manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of PM tools (Estimating, Scheduling, Costs Control and Cost Engineering)
- Execution of projects exceeding $500,000
- Strong economic and critical thinking skills
- At least 18 years of age
- Willing to take a drug test
- Submit to a background investigation
- Additional periodic background checks as required by CFATS or regulations adopted by the Department of Homeland Security or other regulatory agencies
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Satisfactory work performance (if currently an employee of the Company)
- Travel (approximately 50%)
