Job Summary
Lead cross-disciplinary engineering, manufacturing, and test infrastructure projects from design through commissioning, serving as the primary point of contact for customers. Drive project coordination by defining scope and deliverables, managing scope, schedule, budget, and revenue while preparing financial forecasts and controlling cash flow through invoicing and payment pursuit. Create and execute project plans incorporating technical and commercial aspects, proactively managing customer expectations and leading conflict resolution to maintain scope, budget, and schedule. Support the Pursuit Team in proposal development and contract negotiations, while managing project risk and lessons learned. Requires 9+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing, P&L responsibility, and 50% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline
- 9+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing or similar industry
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to above
- In-depth knowledge and experience in a professionally run project management environment
- proven ability to adapt the project management approach to the specific project / client situation
- Strong understanding of project management tools & practices
- emphasis in any of government, construction and building refurbishment, or components and equipment projects
- P&L experience at the project level
- proven track record of leading and delivering successful projects
