Job Summary
Lead a dedicated project team from planning through construction, partnering with the Managing Principal to guide members and manage scopes, schedules, and budgets. Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and agencies while overseeing design deliverables and construction documents for quality and coordination. Conduct site visits to ensure construction aligns with design intent and evaluate structural systems based on project needs. Identify and resolve technical and project challenges proactively. Requires a Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Hawaii PE license, and 8–12 years of experience. Competitive hourly rate of $50 to $65, with performance bonuses, profit sharing, and ESOP ownership.
Required Qualifications
- Hawaii PE license (or ability to obtain)
- 8–12 years of experience in building design and/or project management
- Strong background across building types and structural systems
- Proven ability to manage projects and mentor team members
- Experience with tools such as Revit, ETABS, RISA, RAM, or similar
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field preferred
