Job Summary
Manage technically oriented building, infrastructure, laboratory, and production-related projects as the owner's representative from requirements clarification through handover. Compile project requirements from business units and facility management, then build resilient project setups with defined scope, budget, schedule, and escalation paths. Coordinate architects, engineering service providers, and contractors while ensuring costs, deadlines, quality, and compliance in regulated GxP environments. Establish schedules, risk registers, and status reports to drive mechanical completion and operator handover. Further develop standards, methods, and quality gates for Building & Infrastructure Projects within Fresenius' Group Real Estate Management.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in the field of process engineering, civil engineering, architecture, building technology or a comparable qualification
- At least ten years of experience in project management of technical projects
- ideally in pharmaceutical, R&D, life science, building infrastructure or comparable regulated environments
- Strong experience as an owner's representative or client-side project manager
- Very good understanding of approval planning, design & construction, commissioning and handover processes in regulated GxP areas
- Solid competence in cost, deadline, risk, claim and change management
- Broad understanding of technical building equipment, infrastructure, user requirements and operability
- Experience in managing external planners, engineering companies, consultants, construction partners and technical service providers
- Strong management competence for complex interfaces between business, sites, operating organisations, engineering, facility management, HSE, IT and external project partners
- Experience in international or matrix-oriented organisations

- willingness to actively shape the development, professionalisation and further development of GREM-Engineering
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
