Job Summary
Lead planning, design, and delivery of airport infrastructure projects including runways, taxiways, and landside facilities while managing multiple concurrent projects and clients. Prepare schedules, track budgets, and lead coordination between design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure compliance with project documents. Serve as Sales Lead for project pursuits by identifying opportunities, preparing engineering proposals, and delivering client presentations to secure new work. Manage one or more engineers and perform field observations to monitor construction progress and support resolution of RFIs and change documentation. Requires PE license, 8+ years of aviation experience, and hybrid work in Kansas City.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of experience supporting aviation or airport infrastructure projects
- PE license
- Experience working in active airfield or airport environments
- Knowledge of airfield pavement systems, civil site design, and construction means and methods
- Experienced in project management principles and construction coordination
- Experienced managing teams in completing small and large engineering projects
- Experienced in managing airport clients in completing airport design and construction support services
- Experienced in preparing proposals and preparing and delivering client presentations
