Job Summary
Senior Project Manager for Aerospace & Defense in Orlando, leading procurement, bidding, planning, field operations, and cost management across complex projects. Responsibilities include building bidder lists, developing bid strategies, managing bid documents and Q&A, pre-bid meetings, evaluating bids, drafting subcontracts, developing complex schedules, site logistics, cash flow projections, risk identification, jobsite safety, RFIs/submittals, coordination with architects/engineers, managing budgets and change orders, and pursuing new work through RFP responses and presentations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of managing large-scale aerospace/defense construction projects; strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills; proficiency with project management software; ability to manage multiple projects under pressure; and U.S. citizenship with successful background check.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience (7+ years) managing large-scale aerospace and defense construction projects
- Strong understanding of aerospace and defense industry standards, regulations, and security protocols
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficiency with project management software and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Must be able to successfully complete an extensive background check
- Must be a U.S. citizen
