Job Summary
Lead an engineering team to deliver key programs per timelines, quality requirements, and budget by managing project initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closure. Define scope, maintain schedules, and report progress while managing capital and expense budgets for new product, process, and technology initiatives. Collaborate with Product Development, Advanced Technology, and Global Marketing to drive implementation, evaluate manufacturing process layouts, and optimize floor space utilization. Identify, monitor, and manage project risks while engaging with the broader AO team on new product introduction issues. Participate in resource selection, training, and performance appraisals for project staff and temporary contract SMEs. Establish priorities using project management tools to support delivery within cost and time commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline
- 5+ years relevant experience in a technical or project management role
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to plan, organize and implement concurrent tasks
- Demonstrated ability to define project risk and to effectively manage project risks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.
- Experience of GD&T, Process mapping, statistical methods and process/ product validations
- Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry
- Demonstrated Leadership, Project Management and Engineering experience in New Product Introduction in a regulated environment
- Travel Percentage: 20%
