Senior Project Manager

Job Summary
Develop relationships with clients at various levels in the government to ensure successful project delivery on multiple contracts. Identify requirements, coordinate resources, and communicate decisions to appropriate personnel, both internal to the team and our clients. Develop budgets, schedules, and profit objectives for assigned projects, and take the lead in negotiating budgets, schedules, project terms, and conditions on specific proposal opportunities. Work with Regional Management to establish staffing requirements, initiate project setup, and maintain project management files. Provide direction and oversight to various employees, assuring projects are executed within approved budgets and schedules in accordance with company Quality requirements. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, participate in marketing company services, and assist in training and mentoring of project employees. This role requires 2-4 days per week onsite at the DOT headquarters in Washington, DC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree
- Ability to appropriately interact with clients of all levels, including executives, in writing and in-person interactions at DOT Headquarters
- Ability to manage complex relationships between multiple stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the clients and support staff
- Ability to support, manage, and contribute to multiple projects, deliverables, and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to speak and write English fluently
- Ability to organize, plan, monitor, and control project contractual requirements, budgets, schedules, and technical work
- Ability to utilize basic personal computer applications, including spreadsheets, word processors, email, and internet browsers
- Ability to communicate technical aspects of projects and of work assignments to peers, subordinates, and clients
- Ability to direct the execution of complex projects
- Ability to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems
- 2-4 days per week onsite at the DOT headquarters in Washington, DC
