Job Summary
Lead the successful delivery of medium to large-scale, technically complex projects from handover through completion, taking ownership of planning, execution, and overall project performance. Build, inspire, and develop high-performing project teams through coaching and mentoring, while driving projects to successful outcomes by managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and cash flow. Partner with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders as their trusted point of contact, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to maximize value. Ensure projects meet highest standards of quality, governance, and contractual compliance, collaborating with Supply Chain and commercial teams to manage changes and contract delivery. Champion continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and enhancing PMO standards, while fostering a strong Health, Safety and Environment culture. Work hybrid from St Neots; requires significant project management experience and engineering or technical qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in project management
- Proven track record of managing full project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, cost control, and vendor/subcontractor management
- Strong collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience managing teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Advance Planning, Scheduling and Organisational skills
- Relevant qualifications such as an engineering or technical degree, or a recognised project management certification
- Strong commitment to professional development in project management
- Willingness to travel and engage face to face with our customers
