Job Summary
Define and own the execution strategy for large-scale payment product and technology initiatives by partnering with Product Management to understand roadmaps and business priorities. Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders to create executable delivery plans, establish program structures, and manage dependencies. Continuously optimize delivery effectiveness by removing friction, managing risks, and improving execution outcomes while tracking program status, financial impacts, and milestones to leadership. Drive Agile delivery practices and foster transparency across diverse teams supporting Elavon's core payment platforms powering omni-commerce experiences across North America and Europe.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- PMI Project Management Professional credential
- At least 10 years experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects
- PMP certification
- Agile certification (SAFe, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent)
- 8+ years leading complex technology programs and cross-functional initiatives
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, risk management, and executive communications
- Payments, fintech, merchant acquiring, eCommerce, POS, or financial services experience
- Experience working within Agile product operating models
- Experience delivering complex programs involving multiple development teams and enterprise stakeholders
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions, APIs, payment gateways, and digital commerce platforms
- Advanced knowledge of: Program and project management methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of: Agile delivery frameworks
- Advanced knowledge of: Risk and dependency management
- Advanced knowledge of: Executive reporting and governance
- Advanced knowledge of: Cross-functional stakeholder management
- Advanced knowledge of: Tools: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project
- Working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week
