Job Summary
Lead large-scale construction initiatives, driving strategic direction and operational performance for assigned business units while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Manage P&L, budgets, and operational metrics at a business unit level, leveraging expertise in risk management, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution. Mentor emerging leaders, serve as a trusted partner to high-profile clients, and contribute to long-term organizational growth and market expansion. Report directly to the Vice President of Operations within a high-performance culture emphasizing collaboration and accountability. Requires 15+ years of progressive construction experience and a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 15+ years of progressive construction experience, including leadership of large, complex projects or business units
- Proven ability to manage P&L, budgets, and operational performance at a business unit level
- Exceptional leadership, team-building, and mentoring capabilities
- Strong expertise in risk management, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution
- Demonstrated success in client relationship management and business development
- Executive presence with outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to travel to project sites, client offices, and industry events as needed
