Job Summary
Direct engineering design and project management for water/wastewater systems from concept through final delivery, leading the design team and coordinating contractors to meet budget and quality standards. Manage planning, production, and resource allocation for lift stations, pipelines, and treatment facilities while supervising junior engineers on shop drawings and construction administration. Develop action plans, estimate labor and material requirements, and prepare monthly progress and cost reports for management. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients, conducting site investigations and collaborating across plants to solve technical challenges. Requires a Florida P.E. license and 4+ years of experience in water/wastewater projects.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Deltek Vision, Smartsheet, or similar software platforms
- Comfortable working and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to effectively multi-task while adhering to project schedules and budgets
- Knowledge of codes and design and construction practices
- Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- P.E. license in the state of Florida
- Minimum 4+ years of experience with water/wastewater projects
- Strong knowledge of engineering principals and industry standards as it relates to pipelines, lift stations, pumps, water lines, stormwater systems, and water/wastewater treatment facilities
