Job Summary
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be the technical owner responsible for managing engineering commitments and leading large interdisciplinary teams to deliver complex, mission-critical Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) systems. Key responsibilities include overseeing all engineering work packages, ensuring compliance with safety and design standards, managing technical documentation, and acting as the primary engineering liaison across multiple teams. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, extensive engineering experience, and proven leadership skills in demanding environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Acoustic Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 5+ years in technical leadership roles
- Proven experience leading large interdisciplinary teams
- Strong understanding of systems engineering and sonar technologies
- Experience across the full project lifecycle in the defence industry
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PEng) preferred
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVMS)
- Control Account Management (CAM)
- Microsoft Project
