Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in organizing, controlling, scheduling, monitoring, and recording all activities of construction management; lead coordination with subcontractors and design teams; manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, close-out, punch lists, and project documentation; ensure adherence to contract documents; demonstrate advanced knowledge of construction practices and use Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and MS Office; requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, with opportunity to work on large commercial projects in Indio, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Working knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment
- Experience with large commercial projects; healthcare, higher education, corporate campuses, justice, science & technology is desired
- Procore or similar construction software
- Primavera P6
- Bluebeam
- MS Office Suite proficiency, strong Excel and ODBC, or familiarity with data mining platforms
- Advanced knowledge of blueprint reading
- Proficient scheduling and estimating software
