Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer leads engineering project teams in space-program development, organizing engineering work to support the Integrated Master Schedule, while coordinating with Program Management Office, subcontractors, and customers. Responsible for defining and meeting program technical resource needs, budgeting, scheduling, and performance commitments; provides technical direction for product design, development, and improvement projects; conducts milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and prepares documentation, interfaces with customers, and ensures compliance with Systems Engineering best practices. Requires broad engineering expertise, leadership, and strong communication skills; DoD Secret Clearance is required. Locations include Acton, MA, USA. Responsible for organizing technical work, tracking progress, and providing updates to senior leadership and PMO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree or PhD
- Nine or more years of experience with a bachelor's degree, seven or more years with a master's degree, or four or more years with a PhD
- DoD Secret Clearance is required
- Engineering degree is preferred
