Job Summary
Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and oversight to ensure timely, cost-effective outcomes while maintaining safety and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Prepare subcontract scopes and contracts, review construction plans and drawings, and manage submittals, shop drawings, and client correspondence regarding notification provisions. Lead project closeout activities and utilize cost control systems to track financial performance. Work within the Project Management Team on projects in the LA and Inglewood area, supporting the organization's mission to build sustainable solutions for society.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ Years of experience creating documentation such as RFIs, and client correspondence on issues related to the notification provisions in contracts.
- 3+ years of reading and understanding construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings.
- Able to outline specifications required for submission to clients and ensure submittals and shop drawings are approved.
- 2+ years preparing subcontract scopes and contracts.
- 2+ years expereince with project close out.
- 1+ years working with cost control systems.
- Bachelor's Degree – Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 3 years prior relevant experience.
