Senior Project Engineer

Develop engineering designs, material specifications, and project cost estimates while conducting feasibility studies to support design choices. Ensure designs meet required standards and codes by validating field work and creating as-built drawings. Review engineering submissions for accuracy, coordinate project activities with vendors and contractors, and direct them on layout planning and utility requirements. Manage project budgets to ensure financial targets are met, submit regular status reports, and monitor installations to ensure they meet specs, budgets, and timelines. Maintain documentation including manuals, drawings, specs, and vendor contacts. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, and the ability to travel 50% of the time. Preferred knowledge includes engineering principles in food processing and the meat industry.
