Senior Project Engineer - Salt Lake City, UT

Lead engineering design projects on large, complex roadway and highway improvement programs, applying Civil Engineering knowledge to design roadways, streets, and interstates. Clearly communicate design concepts through drawings, documents, reports, and client interactions; coordinate with drainage, utilities, structures, signals, lighting, ITS, and other disciplines to mitigate conflicts. Develop alignment, profile, geometrics, construction plans, and estimates; prepare technical reports, specifications, and calculations; assist the project manager with scopes, fees, and schedules. Mentor junior engineers and technicians; interact with clients to convey design intent and support business development opportunities. Proficiency with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with UDOT standards is preferred. Hybrid or Remote work options available where possible; location noted as Salt Lake City, UT.
