Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer role in Atlanta focusing on budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders and other management tools. Responsibilities include RFIs, shop drawing coordination, QA/PSQP participation, vendor/subcontractor coordination, project procurement, schedule and budget management, and supporting Project Manager/Superintendent with project execution. Requires a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management and 2-4 years of commercial construction experience in a design-build environment. Travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction engineering/management is required
- 2-4 years of successful commercial construction experience in a design-build environment
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems
- Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing
- Travel as needed
