Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer, Plumbing & Fire Protection responsible for designing plumbing and fire protection systems for buildings from design through construction administration, including domestic water, sanitary drainage and vent, storm drainage, pumping, natural gas distribution, and special fire suppression systems; perform system selections, preliminary designs, and performance specifications; coordinate with owners/clients/architects, review contractor submittals and shop drawings for conformance, apply codes and standards, incorporate design changes using AutoCAD and Revit, and produce documentation matching client requirements and standards.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred
