Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer leading cross-functional manufacturing/capital projects in Abbott Nutrition’s Casa Grande facility. Responsible for end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation through closeout, coordinating internal teams, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies; developing scope, schedule, budget, and quality plans; preparing engineering designs and construction documents; conducting feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses; ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, Abbott policies, environmental requirements, and infant formula quality standards; tracking progress, driving cost savings, and supporting capital planning and continuous improvement initiatives; requiring strong leadership and communication skills and familiarity with GMP/CSA frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field
- 3–5 years of engineering and project management experience (capital/infrastructure projects preferred)
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction methods, and delivery systems
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with MS Project or Primavera, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- PMP certification (preferred, not required)
- Familiarity with Design Control, GDP, cGMP, GAMP5, and FDA Computer Software Assurance (CSA)
