Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer to direct and coordinate the engineering and design of assigned projects, coordinating timely technical decisions and establishing the technical interface among engineers, customers, and subcontractors. Responsibilities include leading technical and delivery aspects of projects, managing cross-discipline interfaces, overseeing subcontractor engineering, identifying and mitigating technical risks, ensuring compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory requirements, supporting proposals with technical content, monitoring progress, schedules, and resource utilization, coordinating Design Reviews, and performing configuration management and change-order activities. Requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and experience with government contracts, budgeting, and scheduling; familiarity with nuclear-related processes and export-controlled information; and travel as needed. For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position, the pay range is CAD; U.S. pay ranges apply where stated. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 8 years of power industry project management, design, or operation experience
