Job Summary
The Senior Project Engineer will provide technical and design services for mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection design projects, creating construction drawings and specifications for institutional, commercial, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities include client interaction, conducting preliminary evaluations, preparing reports, producing design drawings, preparing technical specifications, and managing tasks on multiple concurrent projects while adhering to timelines and budgets. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and PE registration are required, alongside over ten years of mechanical design and HVAC system analysis experience.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- PE registration or ability to quickly acquire NC PE
- 10 plus years of experience in mechanical design
- Must be able to work as part of a project team
- Must be self-motivated and work independently
- Technically competent, a team player with good communication ability
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with plumbing and fire protection systems is preferred
- Experience with healthcare work is preferred
