Job Summary
Lead and execute consulting engineering projects focused on building inspections, forensic evaluations, due diligence, and construction consulting. Act as a Technical Lead on complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and manage client relationships. Perform field inspections of commercial and residential buildings, evaluate construction documents, and provide actionable engineering recommendations. Develop project scopes, budgets, and execution strategies; deliver detailed, client-ready reports and documentation; ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards. Hybrid work arrangement (office, field, and remote) with growth toward technical leadership and client-facing responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering/Architectural Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Construction Engineering Technology
- 3–7 years of relevant experience for Project Engineer level; 7+ years with leadership exposure for Senior Engineer level
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- OSHA 10 required
- Strong familiarity with building codes and industry standards (ASTM, AAMA)
- Experience in consulting engineering, inspections, or building envelope/structural analysis preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and engineering/reporting software
- Strong communication and client-interaction skills
- Ability to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
