Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer leads customer-facing system integration projects from concept to commissioning, owning execution for large-scale material handling systems. Responsibilities include translating requirements into actionable engineering plans, coordinating mechanical/electrical/software disciplines, managing engineering execution from kick-off through commissioning (including site support, FAT/SAT), overseeing internal and external engineering resources, applying material handling technologies (conveyor, singulation, sortation), and ensuring schedule adherence. Requires collaboration with Sales, Product, and Manufacturing, and travel up to 30% to support customer integration projects. Candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, at least five years of system-level engineering experience in relevant industries, proficiency with CAD tools (Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks), and eligibility to work in the United States with no visa sponsorship. The role is full-time with a hybrid work schedule in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; other locations allow remote work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field
- Minimum of five (5) years of system-level engineering experience in material handling, automation, or capital equipment environments
- Experience with 3D CAD tools such as Inventor, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks
- Ability to balance design intent with execution, manage scope, cost, and resources
- Collaborative, hands-on mindset in fast-paced environments
- Strong track record in project execution—from engineering to on-site installation
- Authorized to work in United States on a full-time basis; employer will not sponsor visas
