Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer assists Project Managers with field and cost engineering to deliver infrastructure construction projects in Northern California; supports planning, design interpretation, cost control, procurement, submittals, change orders, schedule management, safety leadership, and coordination with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in construction management, landscape architecture or civil engineering
- one-year estimating takeoff
- two or more years’ heavy civil field experience
- valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record
- read and write in English; bilingual in Spanish helpful but not required
- basic business math and budgeting
- strong planning, organizing, time management
- problem-solving and analytical skills
- experience with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new technologies
