Job Summary
Manage complex projects related to regulatory compliance of building products, including witnessing laboratory tests and performing audits at client manufacturing facilities. Conduct engineering evaluations for regulatory compliance in Canadian and US markets, preparing technical documentation, certification reports, and Listing reports derived from test results. Collaborate with sales, laboratory, and technical teams to support project execution, while interacting with clients and authorities to resolve matters. Participate in industry committees and standards development activities, and promote new business opportunities. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, five years of experience in technical writing and regulatory compliance, and a P.ENG. Salary range is $90,000 - $130,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in technical writing, regulatory compliance, and familiarity with the testing, inspection, and certification industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and team building skills
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams
- Microsoft Office software expertise
- Valid driver's license
- Be able to travel within Canada and USA
- P.ENG required
