Job Summary

Lead and deliver mining and heavy industrial projects through planning, design, construction, and operational support across British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including mining, civil, geotechnical, and electrical specialists while managing scope, budgets, schedules, and risks. Provide technical expertise for underground and open-pit mining projects and build client relationships as a key point of contact. Lead or support proposals, fee estimates, and RFP submissions, and mentor junior engineers and EITs. Support field investigations, construction reviews, and commissioning activities as required. This role combines technical engineering expertise with project management and business development for active mining projects. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • PEng or PGeo designation with EGBC
  • 10+ years of progressive experience delivering mining, industrial, or resource-sector projects
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong technical knowledge of mining and heavy industrial project delivery, construction, and operations
  • Proven ability to develop client relationships and contribute to business development activities
  • Experience mentoring junior technical staff and supporting team development
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and support remote or rotational assignments when required
  • Based in Prince George, BC
  • Willingness to relocate to Prince George

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering would be considered an asset
