Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary
Perform hand calculations based on engineering principles and building code requirements, utilizing software packages for computer-aided design. Produce project documents for client submissions and attend on-site meetings and inspections to prepare formal written reports summarizing observations. Interact with clients continuously during the project design phase and lead or mentor younger engineers as part of the team. Requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis, E.I.T. or PE certification, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bentley Suite. Required Qualifications
- 4-7 year's experience
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, structural emphasis
- E.I.T. (or E.I.) certification
- Relevant experience with building materials including: structural steel, mild concrete, post-tensioned concrete, wood, and masonry
- Familiar with computer analysis packages including: Bentley Suite (RAM), Computers & Structures Suite (ETABS)
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Organized
- able to multi-task
