Job Summary
The role of Senior Project Engineer involves managing commercial projects, ensuring adherence to DPR’s environmental health and safety plan, and conducting safety audits. Key responsibilities include mentoring team members, organizing project schedules, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among project stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, exceptional organizational skills, and proficiency in project management and BIM software. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience
- 5+ years of experience as a project engineer, preferably within DPR’s core markets
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field
- Detailed knowledge of assigned project scopes
- Strong work ethic and a 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to seek out and resolve construction problems/conflicts
