Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer at Dome Construction drives construction projects from concept to closeout, owning documentation, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and issue resolution. Youâll interpret complex drawings and specs, serve as a key liaison among clients, design teams, trade partners, and internal stakeholders, collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure smooth execution, conduct regular site visits to support safety and QA, and mentor junior engineers while driving process improvements. The role requires 3+ years in construction, a bachelorâs degree (or equivalent hands-on experience), proficiency with Procore/Bluebeam/MS Project, and the ability to travel regionally with on-site presence across California.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of construction experience (commercial, industrial, or TI preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project proficiency
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, cost control, and safety protocols
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Regular job-site visits and ability to travel regionally (mostly within California)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
