Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer (SPE) is the Owner’s representative on transportation projects, responsible for construction, engineering, and inspection services, managing project budget and schedule, ensuring safety and quality, developing client relationships, and leading a team. Responsibilities include tracking contract time and budget, reviewing team performance, communicating with clients, performing CPM schedule reviews, handling Change Orders/Work Orders/Supplemental Agreements, ensuring compliance with contract plans and specs, and facilitating meetings with clients, contractors, and agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Florida or ability to obtain within six months
- BS in Civil Engineering
- Six (6) years of engineering experience
- Two (2) years in relevant transportation projects
- Valid and Safe Driver License
- FDOT Advanced MOT
- CTQP Quality Control Manager (Attend and pass the examination)
