Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer – CEI for major FDOT roadways, bridges, and transportation infrastructure in Florida. Lead field CEI operations, interpret complex plans and contract documents, ensure compliance with FDOT/CPAM standards, manage CPM schedules and construction claims, oversee budgets and resource planning, mentor inspectors and staff, and participate in pursuits for future opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (Florida PE preferred; out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain Florida PE within six months)
- Minimum of 6 years progressive engineering experience including at least 2 years in major roadway or bridge construction projects
- Proficiency with FDOT Construction Project Administration Manual (CPAM) and ability to obtain FDOT Advanced MOT, CTQP Quality Control Manager Certification, and Critical Structures Construction Issues training
