Senior Project Engineer (Acoustics)

Job Summary
Lead and manage the Acoustics and Environmental Technical engineering team, coordinating cross-functional activities to design, plan, and deliver engineering services to internal and external clients. Oversee project lifecycles by defining technical programmes, identifying risks, and developing mitigation plans while supporting commercial bids with technical solutions and cost data. Manage third-party services, coordinate complex vessel mobilisations including deck and lifting plans, and provide local and remote troubleshooting for in-field operations. Conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and ensure adherence to QA and HSE procedures. Assist in R&D trials and sailing for equipment testing. Full-time, permanent role with 37.5 hours per week based in Great Yarmouth, with options in Papendrecht or Sharjah.
Required Qualifications
- BEng/BSc in relevant discipline (Acoustics, Engineering Electronics & Mechanical, or similar)
- Onshore experience either doing or assisting with technical project engineering
- Client interfacing experience as a technical authority
- Capable of passing an ENG1 and attaining an STCW95 as minimum
- Driving Licence
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Must live within commutable distance of site
Desired Qualifications
- Industry recognised project management qualification
- Experience of industry, acoustics + technical either from geophysical, environmental, seismic, geotechnical, university research
- CEng in relevant discipline
