Senior Project Engineer

Senior Project Engineer responsible for acting as the design authority for an electrical discipline, delivering LV switchgear designs including drawings, BOM, and project documents, and guiding other engineers. Provide technical support for bids, inspections, and service; prepare training materials and coach colleagues. Assess client needs and competitive product features to prepare optimal project proposals; document deviations and changes; coordinate with sales, procurement, and project management to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery per contract specifications and quality standards. Lead by example, share design experience, identify risks, and propose improvements to tools and processes. Engage in client technical meetings and collaborate with suppliers to verify technical parameters. Demonstrate strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills, with growth mindset and openness to new ideas. The role is located in Xiamen, China, within ABB Smart Power, and involves responsibilities across design, technical support, and client collaboration.
