Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer responsible for planning, leading, and executing multiple projects within defined scopes and budgets. Develop statements of work (SOWs), cost proposals, and project timelines for new opportunities; serve as primary interface with customers and internal teams; produce monthly and final technical reports. Projects range from 2 months to 2 years with values from tens of thousands to over $1 million. Emphasizes strong collaboration with customers, management, engineers, technicians, and alliance partners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and achievement of client objectives. Experience with manufacturing and defense-related applications, DoD requirements, and potential for additive manufacturing is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with emphasis on Manufacturing Technology and/or Mechanical Engineering or comparable degree with 10 years of experience
- In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s degree in a related field with 20 years of experience
- Experience in the manufacturing and machining industry with a proven record of increasing responsibility in technical applications
- Experience successfully leading and maintaining individual projects, including effective delegation of tasks
- Experience with Department of Defense
- Willingness to travel
- Good leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- Good technical report writing and customer service skills
- Good organizational skills
Desired Qualifications

- Strong communication, presentation, and technical report writing skills
- Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills
- Experience developing manufacturing processes for defense-related components; additive manufacturing is a plus
