Job Summary
Senior Project Development Manager overseeing a portfolio of roughly 15–20 renewable-energy projects (wind, PV, and BESS with wind being primary) in Europe (Central–Eastern) and leading a small team of 2–3 Project Development Managers. Responsibilities include end-to-end development from early-stage to RTB, full accountability for wind and BESS developments (PV as an additional scope), land acquisition and negotiations with owners, permitting processes and regulatory relations, securing interconnection conditions and collaboration with OSD/TSO, managing legal/technical/environmental aspects, coordinating with local partners and stakeholders (developers, law firms, engineering offices, consultants, regulators, contractors), collaborating with internal Engineering, Procurement, Financing, and Legal teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and risks, and reporting progress to the Head of Europe Project Development. Willingness to travel across Europe (occasional travel to Israel). 100% remote work with no plans to open offices in PL or DE.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years experience in the renewable energy sector (OZE), specifically wind projects and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Proven track record delivering projects to RTB (ready-to-build).
- Operational experience in Poland; experience in Germany and Romania is a strong asset.
- Experience managing a small project-team.
- Very good command of English (including technical documentation).
- Higher education; technical degree preferred; MBA/M.Sc. is welcome.
- Ability to work in an international environment and in matrix structures.
- High level of autonomy, problem-solving skills, and attention to quality and detail.
- Willingness to travel across Europe (occasional travel to Israel).
- 100% remote work – company does not plan office openings in PL or DE.
