Senior Project Coordinator

Coordinate OOG import and export shipments, issue delivery orders to trucking carriers and warehouses, and ensure cargo is delivered on time while keeping customers informed of any changes or delays. Obtain and negotiate quotes from vendors, communicate with internal stakeholders, and serve as the first point of contact for escalated operational issues. Mentor and train fellow team members on OOG cargo operations while working independently within defined boundaries. Requires 5+ years of operations experience in project freight forwarding, including breakbulk, RORO, and OOG flat rack shipments, along with CargoWise proficiency. This individual contributor role supports Maersk's global logistics network by applying technical knowledge to manage fulfillment activities across various warehouse types.
