Job Summary
Maintain the programme plan, milestone tracker, and cross-squad dependency map while flagging slippage or emerging conflicts to the Programme Manager. Own the RAID log by logging new entries, following up with owners, and preparing the log for steering committee and Exco review. Prepare agendas, minutes, and action logs for governance forums, tracking actions through to closure, and coordinate release-readiness activities across release trains. Support budget and Capex tracking by maintaining spend-to-plan views and highlighting variances. Manage the document repository in Confluence and/or SharePoint to ensure specifications and architecture artefacts are current and versioned. Act as the first point of contact for cross-functional coordination queries, triaging and routing them to appropriate owners. Consolidate status updates, key metrics, risks, and dependencies into clear management reports to assist with consistent governance and reporting rhythm across workstreams.
Required Qualifications
- Strong structured planning, coordination and tracking skills
- Strong risk and issue judgement, with the ability to distinguish between genuine programme risks and operational noise
- Ability to assess severity and understand when an issue requires immediate escalation versus being logged for the next governance cycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Progressive leadership approach, with the ability to uplift, motivate and support teams
- Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
- Understanding of financial and vendor management processes
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical, business and executive stakeholders
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced programme environment
- Proactive, organised and comfortable working independently while keeping the Programme Manager fully informed
