Job Summary
Manage and maintain project controls systems, trackers, and reporting while monitoring costs, commitments, forecasts, and overall financial performance. Support construction estimating, scheduling, and resource planning activities, applying earned value management and short-interval control practices to monitor project performance. Track project changes to ensure cost and schedule impacts are identified and communicated, then prepare and maintain project controls reports, forecasts, and performance metrics. Provide project controls support to the Project Controller and Superintendent by collaborating with construction, engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure accurate and timely project information. Identify potential cost, schedule, and resource issues and support the development of mitigation strategies. Maintain project controls processes and documentation to a high standard.
Required Qualifications
- Senior-level experience in project controls
- experience in mining, construction, or heavy industrial environments
- Strong experience with cost tracking
- Strong experience with forecasting
- Strong experience with scheduling
- Strong experience with change management
- Experience developing and maintaining project controls trackers
- Experience developing and maintaining reporting systems
- Knowledge of construction estimating
